We all have a 2 part, brain, spirit, soul, whatever jives with you. A dark and light that dance a balanced dance if you're lucky because without the bad we would never have the good. When you really boil it down, the trick is what you feed them. I mean this literally and spiritually. If you eat fast food everyday, you're not doing your brain or body any favors. Diet plays such a key roll I can't believe they're out here teaching things like common core math and Shakespeare but nutrition classes are only electives when you get to high-school.
I learned something about a year ago, and I can't believe how true it is. "You're the average of the five people you spend most of your time with”. In fact, five people around you are determining your success. Really think about the people you yolk yourself to and how they conduct themselves in every aspect of their life. It sucks to feel like you're judging everyone constantly but when you're literally determining your own fate based on the company you keep, I like to think our judgment is a gift when used correctly. Are they bashing you or encouraging you? Blessing you or cursing you? Do they lead a similar life or have goals and aspirations to match yours?
Do you meditate or self medicate? Meditation doesn't even have to be literal, but you should have a healthy routine to get back to a good place when your life picks you up and tosses you around a bit. Cus that's fucking life man, it happens, so don't make yourself work even harder by succumbing to poor coping habits.
Have you fallen habit of repeating false judgments against you to yourself ? Or do you say positive things that encourage you to grow and thrive?
